Lapel Pins in Action: Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative Festival

An excellent example of how and organization can use lapel pins to raise funds, do branding and spread awareness: The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative.

A little bit about them:

The Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative (www.AlzQuilts.org) is a national, grassroots charity whose mission is to raise awareness and fund research. The AAQI auctions and sells donated quilts, and sponsors a nationally touring exhibit of quilts about Alzheimer's. The AAQI has raised more than $421,000 since January 2006. Source

The pins are beautiful, made with hard enamel colors and bronze plating. They look very elegant and I think they will fly out of the shelves

They (lapel pins) will be for sale on the AAQI web page towards the end of November, but the only place you can get them in the next ten days is at the International Quilt Festival,

A great example of how an organization can raise awareness using lapel pins. If you run a charitable organization, you migh want to use them as well.
