Today Nintendo announced they will be rewarding members of its club with anniversary lapel pins and screensavers. In order to qualify for the pins you will need 450 points and 10 for the screensavers. The pins are beautiful, and they will enhance your collection if you have one.
Here is how the Nintendo reward system works:
You can register any Nintendo-published game (must be recent), as well as Wii or DSi (sorry, folks, DS Lites can be registered, but won’t earn you coins). Then, by completing surveys, you earn coins that you can redeem for various prizes, like the commemorative pins. Coins don’t expire, but the totals you earn for each year are tailed, and if you rack up a certain amount in a club year, you can be eligible for special rewards. It’s free to join, and definitely worth it if you buy a lot of Nintendo games.

Judging by the pictures, these reward pins are very high quality hard enamel lapel pins, with beautiful colors and hopefully, this time they won't end up recalling them... oops!
