How to apply sublimation patches?What is FAQ?

There are two ways to apply sublimation patches: pressure-sensitive on hard goods, and low melt heat seal (on garments and hats).
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ON HARD GOODS
To apply a patch pressure-sensitive on hard goods, make sure the application area is thoroughly cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Remove the paper backing and press firmly on the desired location.
LOW MELT HEAT SEAL
ON GARMENTS - TOP HEAT
To apply a low melt heat seal patch on a garment, set the press at 315-325° F with 70-80 psi of pressure. Place the garment in the press wrinkle-free, then place the patch onto the desired location on the garment. Thermal tape is optional. Press for 14-18 seconds, remove from press and allow to cool. Your patch is now applied!
ON HATS - USING THE IQ 360 HAT HEAT PRESS
Set the press at 275°-285° F for top heat and 315°- 320°F for bottom heat with 60-80 psi of pressure.
Put the cap on the heat press, leaving out the inner layer. For a more secure grip, use the adjustment lever.
To adhere the patch to the skin, place it on a clean surface. To keep the patch in place and stop it from moving, use Thermal Tape.
Place a silicone pad over the design.
For 16-20 seconds, apply the sticker with the heat press. Remove your hat from the heat press and deactivate the adjustment knob.
When the patch has cooled, remove the Thermal Tape. Your hat is now patched!
