Women in Aviation International (WAI), is a nonprofit organization devoted to provide networking, education and scholarship opportunities for women who want to fulfill careers in the aviation and aerospace industries.
WAI just launched the program "The Wings Society" to recognize donors. A minimum cumulative $ 500 donation will enroll any person to this program.
"The Wings Society has six levels of participation with the lapel pin becoming more valuable with the cumulative amount of the donation. The levels start with a pearl lapel pin for $500 to $999 in donations and escalate through bronze, silver, gold, platinum and end with a diamond pin for cumulative donations in excess of $20,000." - General Aviation News -
A very important characteristic of this program is that donations are cumulative, so people don't have to make a big donation at once to be part of this, anyone can become a member after they reach the $500 threshold in whatever period of time.
We love WAI program! It will work very well motivating people to donate, they will look forward to get the initial pearl recognition pin and if they have the possibilities to contribute more, they will try to go for the next levels.
On the other hand, these custom made lapel pins are the perfect advertising tool for Women in Aviation International. Donors will feel proud to wear them and other people will see them and know about the program and its goals.
Finally, the idea to name the program "The Wings Society" is wonderful, it gives the program a sense of community or exclusive club that people will be enthusiastic to be part of.
